Real World v Spiritual

Real World v Spiritual

Without going into too much I have been medicAted for about 13yrs for schizophrenia..

The other night I had a negative spiritual experience and I've been a bit freaked out since thinking the worst of my situation..

I now mainly at night think something may again come near me so am on my toes in that sense..

Its not a problem as such as I said it's just freaking me out a little..

I don't want to go into specifics as I don't want to trigger others.

I just like to forget about the experience and move onto a better place..

I previously went 6yrs unmedicated and went from mild to sever symptoms internal and external audio/visual hullcinations

My schizophrenia was drug induced from smoking cannabis for 13yrs and an LSD experience

Any assistance in overcoming these trains of thought would be great..

I don't think I need to increase dosage as I'm not hearing anything else it was a once off its just the lingering thoughts of potential that have me triggering at night.

Thanks @Appleblossom I wasn't sure how much of what I wrote would trigger others and tried to suppress it but I guess if others can relate it's a good thing and something we can work towards through a sense of healing

I could see you had sensitivity and a social conscience @supermodel.

I am not very normal as both my parents were diagnosed with Schizophrenia and it seems to have been my job to figure out my family trauma history and the causes of their breakdowns. Chances were I would "get" it but somehow I have remained partially functional, despite my own life struggles.

My academic studies and personal observations lead me to be more than averagely analytical about it all, but I do have feelings...lol.

I wonder if my father was being overly succinct about his spiritual stuff and then misinterpreted as delusional. Oddly enough he was the one who had the best conversations with me about life in general and the spiritual stuff.

Suppression is something most of us do some of the time but too much suppression is not healthy for the individual or the society.

Good luck in your life journey and I hope more people relate to your communications.

Cheers Apple

Re: Real World v Spiritual

Hi friend i also suffer from Schizophrenia and have had many negative, as well as many positive spiritual experiences.

Truly i believe Schizophrenia is an illness that effect us spiritually, it sure has mine.

i found out that heeding fear inside my heart, always kills (more of) my good life, and will bring me (more) bad life.

To love inner fear, or any other bad life, to death loving, is the very best way to deal with bad spiritual experiences.

Feasting My Good Life
Depression captivated my truth
the truth of my heart and mind
and wound me around its lies
knotted me out of my own reality
into the dungeons of torture below.

Unable to unravel downs cob webs
depression took control of my life
and brought much pain and misery
feasting on my remaining good life
at the expense of my further welfare.

Yet when the truth of love lit up
and i saw love's light in my heart
Depression dumped its misery on me
with me thinking i was as good as dead
trapped by my depressive lies

Yet daring to trust truthful love
killed the voices of my depression
and set me free from its control
giving me back my freedom to be
feasting good times growing New Life.

Heads up dear sufferer, i know for sure good has overcome bad. It is for us to let the power of love move our hurting life into good life. Good life available to all who hate bad life, and learn to love themselves and others true holding onto good.

It's definitely helping the cause thinking of good things and god as a whole overcoming the negative

I believe in god as general rule but don't push my beliefs on others but it has really helped me recently.

That is great to hear my friend.

i found that truthfully loving self, and other, has taught me to love, both true and loving growing in me. For i learned to see The Truth is truly loving, for only true love rules good life into me. Certainly not that religious god i used to call God. That god only ever hurt me my illness, weakness, and human frailties.
