Chat for people with 3+ mental health issues

Hi there, I'd love to hear some experiences and thoughts of people who have highly complex mental health issues.

Mental health disorders, intellectual disabilities, neurodivergence - anyone is welcome to chat.

I'm very interested in the overlaps in conditions that make everyone's experience so varied, sometimes for the better, or (honestly, a lot of the time) for the worse.

Personally, I have a bunch of diagnoses, the main ones being BPD, ASD & ADHD.

@Bunniekins that's so frustrating, alot of kids don't get diagnosed or are misdiagnosed because of different symptoms that don't just fit 1 diagnosis. Other times symptoms are overlooked and pushed aside as just a normal part of growing up. I'm glad you finally got your son diagnosed so that he was able to get support.

@MissGremlin yes he is now in a wonderful supported living arrangement with top notch carers and 2 high functioning asd young men. he is very lucky so many arent. we just had him over for dinner with the family and he was calm and conversing well. we are lucky ...

@MissGremlin okay well he went to a inclusive disco the other night and this young lady asked him to dance! he was thrilled! it is the first time he has danced with anyone before. she gave him a hug good bye when he left. i was so happy for him 😄
