Managing thoughts of suicide & self-harm

Battles

Battles

Hi all, does anyone else just feel like life is just one big sh!t show? It's just one thing after another, constant drama, family issues, money struggles, stress, anxiety it's just always something.

When do things get easier, do things ever change?

I've been through more than i care to think about in my life but today has pushed me to breaking point and it's bringing up alot of bad memories of previous suicide attempts.

I just feel like it's not worth it, it's not worth fighting, not worth hanging on anymore.

Re: Battles

@NightFury you did really well to submit your assignment sweet, I'm proud of you. Going out to lunch with your Dad sounds lovely. Is there anything in particular that's making this evening rough?

@Captain24 sweetheart you have absolutely nothing to apologise for. I'm happy to talk about it and I'm sorry that sleep is so hard for you aswell. Hugs beautiful, you have nothing to be ashamed of here.

Re: Battles

I'm not really sure.

I'm tired @MissGremlin I tossed and turned last night and have been in my anxious brain since last night. Now that anxiety is sitting in my body and I have some physical symptoms.

My Dad told me today that he picked up my Grandad's ashes yesterday. He donated his body to science, so now he's home. Dad is making plans to fulfill Grandad's wishes to scatter his and Nan's ashes sometime in the next few weeks. It just adds an element of sadness to all of the anxiety too.

Re: Battles

@NightFury i hear you sweet, it's tough to sit with that anxiety especially when it's been for a lengthy time. Have you found anything helpful to keep yourself distracted and grounded?

I'm really glad your Grandad is home now, I can understand the sadness that it would be bringing up. Gentle hugs sweetheart ❤️

I'm not really keen on doing much of anything at the moment @MissGremlin I'm laying on the floor of my loungeroom watching YouTube.

I'm such a bad dog Mum @MissGremlin I just got up to feed Luna, opened the fridge and remembered that I needed to go to the supermarket to buy her some food. She has nothing for tonight. I've just thrown some chicken schnitzels I found in the freezer in the air fryer. Fail.

Re: Battles

@NightFury oh no, but it doesn't make you a bad dog mum. I've done the same thing myself before, it's easy for things to slip our minds when there's alot going on. I'm the plus side i bet she's going to love the chicken schnitzels 😋
