Managing thoughts of suicide & self-harm

Battles

Battles

Hi all, does anyone else just feel like life is just one big sh!t show? It's just one thing after another, constant drama, family issues, money struggles, stress, anxiety it's just always something.

When do things get easier, do things ever change?

I've been through more than i care to think about in my life but today has pushed me to breaking point and it's bringing up alot of bad memories of previous suicide attempts.

I just feel like it's not worth it, it's not worth fighting, not worth hanging on anymore.

Re: Battles

That sounds like it makes it tough @MissGremlin

I have a good real estate, but I've heard that some of the agents for other places can so so harsh on their renters.

@NightFury for the most part she has been amazing but she tends to take it out on me if her other tenants cancel their inspections.

Re: Battles

That's not your fault @MissGremlin not your fault at all.

Re: Battles

@NightFury but she makes me feel like it is. I've pushed through when I haven't been well just to keep her happy.

Re: Battles

I reckon you can only ever do your best @MissGremlin and that counts for cleaning ready for inspections. You can only do your best, and maybe a letter from your doctor to back you up if anything comes up.

Re: Battles

@NightFury so very true. I'm going to see how the next couple of days go and if still struggling then I'll get a note from my doctor.

Re: Battles

Sounds like you have a good plan @MissGremlin either way, you've got this! I know it doesn't feel like it, but you do.

Re: Battles

Thankyou @NightFury ❤️. You're right, I don't feel like I've got this but I'm trying my best.

I've been sitting here today trying to work out how i can get the help I need but I keep hitting barriers. Like I've got noone to help with the house and Casper and also a hospital stay doesn't really appeal to me but i know I'm heading down a dangerous path. (I'm safe).

I know i need help and I'm working on trying to get it but it's hard when you don't have anyone around for support.

Re: Battles

Maybe you just need to know the first step @MissGremlin or like...the next step? Maybe trying to see/plan too far ahead is overwhelming. I know often it causes me to jump to worst case scenarios. So maybe think about what yout next step is?

Re: Battles

@NightFury that's what I've been trying to do, it's just figuring out the next step is challenging. Like my appointment with my doctor the other day, we did a mental health care plan and he did a referral. The place rang me the next day but I struggled to understand her, she made an appointment got the next day but when she rang I panicked and didn't answer. There's a language barrier and it was hard for both me to understand her and her to understand me which was incredibly frustrating and not something I can cope with when I'm trying to talk about what's going on.
