Managing thoughts of suicide & self-harm

Battles

Battles

Hi all, does anyone else just feel like life is just one big sh!t show? It's just one thing after another, constant drama, family issues, money struggles, stress, anxiety it's just always something.

When do things get easier, do things ever change?

I've been through more than i care to think about in my life but today has pushed me to breaking point and it's bringing up alot of bad memories of previous suicide attempts.

I just feel like it's not worth it, it's not worth fighting, not worth hanging on anymore.

@Snowflake it's really only been chatting here and reaching out to lifeline or beyond blue and it's just a matter of waiting for it all to pass. But this experience of having these really graphic nightmares has only happened a few times. I get triggered by smells so that's not an option for me, i do have other fidgets but not with me. Anyway I'm going to try to get some more sleep, hopefully. The chat didn't go to plan so I've gotta try to get through this alone now if I can.

Re: Battles

I hope you can get some rest, it will pass and I focus on feeling comfy in bed as you can with your weighted blanket. Rest will come, i'm sorry things feel so intense i do hope you can get more sleep- rest up

@Ru-bee the forums aren't safe for me anymore but I can't lose this community of support, I don't know what to do 😞

Re: Battles

@MissGremlin Hi Dreamy How are you? I’m sorry I wasn’t online. I was too unwell.

I’ve had sleep studies. My next one is this month. I’m not sure if you know thwt you can also have them at home.

I can empathise with feelings of panic going out. I experience it too. It’s a really tough one because it feels so horrible and makes things harder. You are doing well getting to supermarket even if it’s getting what you need and getting back home. One step at a time is really good. You are doing the very best you can and thwt is all we can ask of ourselves. I used to be able to go out and do things but now it’s hard.

It sounds like you had a tough night. How is this morning?

Hi @Cuddlebear. Today is particularly hard and I'm having to lay low on the forums at the moment.

I'm sorry to hear that you haven't been well, how are you feeling today?
