Managing thoughts of suicide & self-harm

Battles

Battles

Hi all, does anyone else just feel like life is just one big sh!t show? It's just one thing after another, constant drama, family issues, money struggles, stress, anxiety it's just always something.

When do things get easier, do things ever change?

I've been through more than i care to think about in my life but today has pushed me to breaking point and it's bringing up alot of bad memories of previous suicide attempts.

I just feel like it's not worth it, it's not worth fighting, not worth hanging on anymore.

Re: Battles

@NightFury yay for cuppa time 😊. I'm going to have a nice cool cookie dough iced coffee i think. What about you?

Re: Battles

It's cold here, so I've gone with a hot cup of caramel flavoured coffee. @MissGremlin

Re: Battles

@NightFury it's cool here too but I need something refreshing. Caramel favoured coffee sounds perfect.

Did you manage to get out today sweet?

In response to: Re: Battles

Re: Battles

I did. @MissGremlin

I decided to mow my back lawn after doing some study, so it wasn't until about 1.30 pm, but I took my book and went and ate lunch at a coffee shop, then went to the chemist and to a stationary shop. I brought a new journal and some body spray and came home.

What have you been up to today?

Re: Battles

@NightFury you did so well to mow the lawn after doing some study and I'm glad you went out for a bit. The journal and body spray are perfect little treats for yourself too ☺️.

I had to do some chores this morning then head to the shops but my car wouldn't start so I had to jump-start it before I could go. Been taking it slowly today as I keep getting to that point of blacking out, thankfully I have an appointment with my doctor tomorrow so will be raising it with him.

Re: Battles

Almost blacking out sounds pretty scary @MissGremlin I'm glad you're seeing your doctor tomorrow. It's a worry.

Well done on getting yourself to the shops and back and on doing what you need to do to take care of yourself today.

Re: Battles

@NightFury yesterday I did black out which was scary and the nausea after was horrible. Today I've managed to catch it before I've fallen but still that nausea after I really am not a fan of. Just hoping my doctor actually takes it seriously cos it's worrying me.

Thankyou sweet ❤️.

How's Luna going?

Re: Battles

I'm worried about you, too, my friend @MissGremlin

Luna is good. She got into trouble today for running up and down the back fence barking at the dog next door. But she's mostly spent the day sleeping, like she normally does.

Re: Battles

@NightFury it's definitely unusual for me so needs to be checked out properly. Thankyou for caring sweet ❤️.

Silly Luna barking at the dog next door. Casper actually kept barking last night when I was in and out of sleep, but there was a dog constantly barking and people screaming. He very rarely barks otherwise.

Re: Battles

Luna's a pretty quiet dog. @MissGremlin she doesn't bark a lot. But she has a thing for running up and down the back fence "talking" to this little jack russel. She would be terrified of it, if she ever met it but with a fence in between she's all kinds of bold.

She does bark every now and then at noises outside, like Casper, it sounds like.
