Re: Confused

I am feeling good about the outpatient program..

But I have had a horrible day and been a sobbing mess. Went home to an empty home all alone. I feel so alone. I have no more tears to cry

Re: Confused

I meant company here on the forums? How does that sound @hairdog ? Do you have people around you who you can reach out to?

Re: Confused

Sorry for the misunderstanding. My mind isn't really with it. No other than my wife who has left I have no one

Re: Confused

Just to share my own experiences, there was a stage in my life where I also had no one. Because of my mental health, I really struggled and pretty much withdrew from the world.

I found these forums a way to practise socialising again as I hadn't done it in so long @hairdog

I wonder if you can use this platform as a starting point to reconnect with people?

Mental health can be a lonely ride sometimes.

Re: Confused

I totally understand what you went through. My depression has caused me to isolate and withdraw from everyone and everything. Now with the family gone I have noone or nothing left

Re: Confused

Yes, that can be so hard. I moved away from family. I moved interstate so that I could focus on my own mental health. I moved to a new place and didn't even tell anyone. I didn't have family around. DIdn't have friends. Didn't have work.....

It was okay at first, but it all went downhill from there @hairdog

And to be honest, in the hardest place was the beginning of my recovery.

The fact that you are part of this outpatient service is hopeful.
