Hi I’m new here I’ve been feeling really alone in the world for a while now. I feel like I don’t understand people and I really struggle with making connections. How do people make new friends at the age of 40? Anyway I thought I would reach out on here so I could maybe feel less alone or like maybe I’m not the only one who feels like an alien in the world.

sorry you are feeling so alone right now. It is hard to make friends at any age but as you get older it gets harder. You have done the right thing reaching out here and let me just say I’d be happy to be your friend if you’ll let me, I often feel lonely too so I know what it’s like. There are lots of people here besides me who’d love to be your friend
