Life can be a Pain

Life can be a Pain

Hi @BlueBay@Zoe7@Former-Member@Faith-and-Hope@utopia@oceangirl@TAB@Shaz51@PeppiPatty

I know there are more people I could tag but maybe I will think them up as I go along - actually I already have

I think I need my own thread - mostly my problem is chronic pain syndrome - I damaged my spine with the sporting excesses of my youth - a long time ago now - and I managed to rearrange it when I fell of my pushbike in a wind storm nearly 22 years ago and that seems a long time ago now but there is nothing they can do except treat the pain - and I do have Section 8 medication and I see a pain specialist

And the pain has been worse lately and wears me down and I get fed up and very tired -

I have issues with my mother as well - and although she died 2 years ago I still have bad times now and again - she was abusive and as well as I know myself and her this can get to me at times - and this is another reason I opened my own thread

Then there is TS - my Toxic Sister - she was under my skin for a while but not at the moment

So yesterday I felt so bad when I went to see the doctor about my back pain - and my pain specialist has cut my medication back several times over the last few years and she has gone too far - and I started to tell my doctor - yes - I cope with the pain better since my mother died - but it's driving me crackers atm and so are the memories of my mother

So that's it for now - I have had trouble opening this thread for some reason but now I have - I will run my own story - I would like to think I don't need to but yes - I do

You are all such wonderful supportive people - you are my soft place to land - that is so true

And anyone I have missed I will tag as I go along

Lots of hugs everyone

Hi @outlander

Thanks for that - yes - tripping over the air - I thought tripping over the flowers in the carpet was clever - esp when there are no flowers - but the air - perhaps I should try that one

I did my exercises though - I may have had enough of the physio to last my lifetime but the exercises can't do any harm

@Former-Memberis away from home looking after her Dad and attending to her mother's affairs while her mum is in hospital - her thread is Spring Cleaner - De-clutter - those words will help find her and you can read what's happening with her - she still clocks in from time to time and it is good we can support her

I am here alone but I must be a secret cookie monster - but make some more - that is a good idea - this time I will not spill the sugar into the egg - wow - that was too much sugar but my cookies are never the same because I don't have a recipe - those were super-sweet but so yummy

Today I have to do things in bitznpiecez - let's not drop the whole cookie mix - what a rotten task to clean up before the ant-army arrive - and I have a few ants all the time and I have no idea what they are after -

Where I live is called "The Sand Belt" and there are always ants - it's a large area and I seem to have lived in this belt most of my life - always bl^^dy ants

Take eating slowly and gently and let yourself get used to eating - you can't do much when you are so empty so I am glad you have the place to yourself for a while this afternoon

@Owlunar Apparantly if you have ants you wont have termites ... so there is a plus side

I thought @Ant7 called himself that because he had a thing for ants! I love bugs

Re: Life can be a Pain

I like bugs too @Bunniekins - and I am really glad that I won't have termites

When I was first married we bought a new house and we had termites - we had to get rid of them so my then-h did something about that and I forget what

Ants though - aw - I have had it worse - here there are nests in the back court-yard and my daughter pulled up all the pavers and relaid them when I first moved here and I knew then I was in for the occasional army but these are just a school excursion - like annoying but not in take-over mode like the ants where I used to live

The ants were in the buiding there - and they would come in the front door or through the ventilators and if there was anything sweet about they would be there and can you imagine getting out of bed in the middle of the night and stepping into the middle of their front line and having them run up your leg? Maybe yes - but I don't have it that bad now and I use ant sand that deals with the nests outside because I can pour it right into the nest and it takes a while for them to find another one and start again

Everyone around here is having the same stuff so it's not just me

And ants - yes - I find them interesting creatures - they are social and so have interesting lives

But I really do not like them in my kitchen at all

@Owlunar Hehehehe! Yes crawling up your leg in the middle of the night is a bit much!!! the only things that freak me out are cockroachs and leeches!! and RATS!! 3 things I cannot deal with at all and some people of course I should put people at the front of the list as people are the hardest things to understand.

Haha @Owlunar we have to be pretty clever to rip over the flowers in the carpet 😉

thats great, keep up the exercises, hopefully itll deter the pain and also make the rest of you stronger as well.

Ahh thanks for that, I wondered where she had gotten to. Im glad shes getting support still while shes going through all this.

Your not alone, not in spirit. Maybe some of us are secretly getting some of those while your out. Try taste.com they have heaps of good recipies.

Err I hate bloody ants in the house. We tend to get lot of them when rain is scheduled actually. Not sure why.

Yes slowly does it today but its looking like I wont get time to myself today. Not at this rate.
Ive just gotten my list of chores for the week when I start back at work so im about to have a look at that. Will probabaly have a heart attack as my boss doesnt do the hard suff like cleaning bathtubs, or cleaning paddocks. Ive also got the farrier already coming on friday and have 4 horses to hold. Thats the easy part though and I still get paid for it.
Will be back

I see your talking to sweet @Bunniekins . Loveley isnt she

Re: Life can be a Pain

Hi @outlander

Are you actually given a list of chores for the week? Oh my - I have been doing housework for so long I think I had better keep that a secret and I have never given myself a list of chores

It sounds good that you are going back to your own work - I hope you are able though - hold the horse seems okay but yeah - all that cleaning stuff is really hard work - you have been away from it for a while and it will take a bit of getting use to with that operation still healing up - but I wish you the best

@Bunniekins

I weally hates mice and cockroaches and flies and mozzies and other things that are not nice at all - I caught worms off my cat once - I had to ask the chemist for something to take for that - so embarrassing and so icky

Yuck

I am going to get my back-pack on and take a walk in this sunshine and get a sammidge from the sammidge shop - it makes the walk worthwhile and it is such a nice day - I stayed inside yesterday because of my headache but I don't have that excuse today

Let's hope I don't trip over the cracks in the footpath - haha

Hello @Shaz51

No my list of chores comes from work. I just do the housework as needed.
Ive just got what needs to be done with the horses and put it on my thread. Geez more than i thought. I guess thats what happens when i a month if not more off work!

Go enjoy the sunshine and walk. We have rain clouds here. I hope it does rain but not yet. I have a clotheline full of clothes. I didnt hang these ones out but if it rains will have to get thrm in
