The Sane Cattery: Because normal is overrated

Welcome to The Sane Cattery, the totally rational, completely normal place where we - totally sane humans - gather to admire our feline overlords. This is a judgment-free zone (unless your cat is the one doing the judging, which, let’s be honest, they always are). Feel free to share photos of your majestic moggies, chaotic kitties, and everything in between. Whether they’re plotting world domination, defying the laws of physics, or simply loafing like sentient bread, we want to see them. Because nothing says "sane" like dedicating an entire discussion to our tiny, furry dictators.

Allow me to begin...

Here is our oldest, Roughy who is 9.

Ryker, who is 7. Trying to convince himself he still fits in this thing like a glove!

And the latest edition, Luna (14 weeks)

...and another one of Luna, 'cause she's so damn cute.

I have been instructed to say that she was in no way stuck, and was just testing my responsiveness.

my foster kittens are really keen to play with my fluffy boy Mr Groot but he isn’t too sure and gets a bit rough

 

 this is mr Boq, his my favourite of my foster kittens. His got a gorgeous bengal pattern all over him. I think once ready he will get adopted pretty quick.

Our older two are still a bit unsure of little Luna. They dont really know what to do around her. They do start to play but then they just run off.

Here is all 10kg of Ryker refusing to come out from behind the door because there's a tiny kitten on the other side. She is going to rule them both when she gets bigger.

what does everyone use to allow their cats to be outdoors and safe?

I just don’t do it @Former-Member from experience once they get a taste for it they will want it more and more and then they attempt escapes!

But if you’re really wanting it you could get a pet playpen. They will be restricted to inside the playpen, but they will get fresh air and they can look around. Kmart sell them.
