Re: Mental health

Hi @tyme my cousin came and visited the first real human interaction I've had in 6 weeks. Even got a shower. I wish it made me feel better but they've gone and now I'm reminded how much I'm missing out in life and how I feel I'm in some prison. I think the fact that I've tried everything and nothing works or no one can help me. I have to wait till ndis but what if it's not coming then what? Is this how people become addicted? They aren't meaning to they just have exhausted everything and at the end just want to not feel pain for a moment. Like just some relief when no one else or no strategies work.

Hello @Former-Member , @Dk5 , @Former-Member , @tyme. @Cryonal27

It is raining 🌧 here, still need the aircon on

Cooked a roast today so now we have meat for the week

Re: Mental health

Awww hun @Former-Member . It sounds so so unfair. I wish I could just get it done for you. It sounds like you need so much more support than you are even expressing here, and someone just needs to put it down on paper for you.

I thought that in hospital, they would have advocated for you and given you the support to at least fill something out. Do you have IPCHealth services in your area?

Yuummmo @Shaz51

Do you only cook meat once a week?

Re: Mental health

Usually cook meat every night for dinner

But a roast lasts a few days @tyme

Because of my kidney disease I have protienuria which means I can't eat too much meat ( protein )

Re: Mental health

That's hectic @Shaz51 . I'm thinking that that would mean you have to consider your iron levels and if you consider your iron levels, then your fatigue levels and it snowballs...

You are such an inspiration @Shaz51

Re: Mental health

My ferritine iron levels are very high

While my normal iron levels are low @tyme

Had 3 bad days last week with migraines, lots of aches and pains

Seeing the doctor on Friday, she thinks I might need another medication

Oh dear @Shaz51 . Hope it'll be okay for you.

Re: Mental health

There is so many medications that you can not take with kidney disease so it can be tricky @tyme

And at the moment the kidney disease is increasing my diabetes levels ( because of the toxins are kept in the body instead of the kidney getting rid of them

Re: Mental health

I don't know what ipc is but yeah it's beyond sad and why I no longer have faith in hospital. And even as dv, I'm told

because I'm disabled I'm only able to go there but when you call the hospital, oh well you can't stay here for that. So what? Because I'm disabled I can't access support to leave a toxic and very harmful environment so much so I may be accumulating two new not healthy coping habits which terrifies but it's the only thing after a list I've meticulously written out to show what I've tried and the list is LONG! 😂😂
