Gratitude posts

Hi everybody, I thought having a topic where we can post what we are grateful for might help. I used to have a site where I posted to daily which then sent me a summary email weekly of things I was grateful for but have had some problems with this recently so felt this might be a good replacement.

Here's my three things to be grateful for today:

A loving family,
A part-time job,
This forum.

Love this idea.
Im grateful for:
* my psychologist who is such a help & is making me see how strong I truly am.
* my son who amazes me with his humour, his intelligence and his love.
* texts from my bf that just make me roar with laughter.

Re: Gratitude posts

Thank you @Former-Member. You made me cry. Good crying.
I'm just feeling so positive and energised since my last 'light bulb' moment with my psychologist. I can truly see how far I've come and can see where I'm going. His therapy is making more sense and I'm starting to remember my true essence - who I was - who i truly am. I have always enjoyed working in the health sector - helping those that need it most. Being useful. It really does bring me happiness.
Thanks again for your words.
This forum & all the people I have met here are amazing and strong. Even on their hardest days, I can see that in them

Re: Gratitude posts

@utopia oh gosh you're making ME tear up!

It's so lovely to hear about your journey and how you really feel like you've turned a corner - I feel like I can FEEL that positive energy coming off my computer screen!! (no, I don't think it's the radiation- haha)

It's so true, everyone on this Forum has amazing strengths and it's just a matter of remembering that sometimes It actually reminds me of a Lord of the Rings quote.. when everything else seems overwhelming difficult it's about looking at your inner strength and inner *light*.
