I’m bored.. + some random thoughts

@Blackcloud Anticipatory anxiety is very common. New situation with possible threats. However the event sounds inspiring. I am old school and always like walking in the bush but forest bathing... Woohoo! Lol Maybe just what you need.

Most people there are probably just wanting a good time. If there are any who rub you up the wrong way, move away to another part of the room. That is their problem.

I am keen to hear your thoughts about it all when you get back

some random high school guy just decided to approach me 😭 I hate teens... 😑😑😒 the only thing he said was “I really like your phone case”..like…thanks….? But weird how it comes from some random person that just decided to approach you completely out of nowhere. I feel like him and his friends are playing some sort of truth or dare game or whatever. You know how weird teens can be….

And when he did approach me complimenting my phone case, I immediately began to start walking somewhere away from him (it was towards where he was at but to a completely different direction) and then he and his friends (or brother?) immediately ran away like nothing happened. 🤷‍♀️ these idiots I swear 😑😑😑

I didn’t make eye contact with him at all though

Edit: oh gosh, now that I went to a different spot and stood there for a bit, the same guy and his mates came up to me again - he now said to me “uh hi there” then I immediately walked away, and when I did, he and his mates immediately started laughing and running away. Sorry but wtf are they’re all on about??? Are they’re all hiding somewhere and spying on me so that they can find me somewhere where this weirdo can keep approaching me??? What are they’re all trying to come and approach me for???😑😑😑

are they’re trying to hit up on some girls or something??

Like I’m an adult though I look really young and innocent so I guess I’m an easy target for that, so for a teen to try and hit up on an adult wouldn’t be ideal.

@Blackcloud oh sweet, how uncomfortable that would have made you feel. The fact that you moved away and then they approached you again, that's just not ok.

@MissGremlin I'm back home now. It was a really uncomfortable experience/encounter and I really hope I don't encounter this guy and his friends again. I'm guessing they've all finished school early which explains why they're all wearing school uniforms. But then that would mean I cannot go to anywhere within the CBD that much.. I'm processing what has happened and right now I'm feeling very uncomfy about it..

@Blackcloud completely understandable that you are feeling that way. I hope it doesn't happen again otherwise do you feel comfortable reporting it to the school they go to?

@MissGremlin I would, but then they probably might not or won't do anything about it. and since I didn't get to see the school logo of his uniform although I know the colour of it, it would require me to do a bit of an extensive research. I truly hope I don't end up encountering those losers again.

hey @Blackcloud just read about your interaction with the high school boys. sucks to hear how uncomfortable that experience was for you!! how are you feeling now?

teens can be confusing to understand/get a read on. it's hard to tell - was he complimenting you as a way to flirt? or as a way to make convo cos he thought you were cool and wanted to be friends? or were their friends playing truth or dare? were they tryna make you uncomfy? so many potential questions!

teen boy's brains are under-developed and they probs don't notice how their behaviour impacts others... not that this an excuse for their behaviour though. i hope you don't run into them again, you deserve to feel safe 💙
