@Former-Member

Have rhey said anything about these panic attacks? It seems to me to be a major priority at the moment to try and sort them out. If it was me, I'd be dreading the idea of even trying to get to sleep if i knew it was going to happen every night!

@Former-Member Its totally understandable, it would be incredibly draining to have it keep happening. I think you need to bring it up with them. When does that nurse come back? They all should help, but you seem to be more comfotable with this particular one.

@Former-Member Do you know amwhen her next shift is?

I get the being home would be more comfortable, bit I dont think it would make abything ekse any easier. You're safe where you are and help is right there. It really would be so helpful to get these panic attacks under some control. Maybe they can get some specialist to come down and discuss it with you and see if anything can help you.

@MJG017 why does it have to be so warm outside today?

Re: Life and trauma

@Former-Member I agree that the best plan would be to get some supports in place for you when you get back home, but sadly, this doesnt always happen... which just show the poor state of the healthcare system. It can really suck for people who get sent home without realky resolving main issues.

Its not just the heat today, its already rained a bit as well here today so far. Its such a horrible day out there. Play that up if you think ot might convince them to hrlp you get some further support. Unfortunately it seems it is left up to the patients or their family/carers etc to really advocate for what is needed.

Hi @Former-Member

I hope that you can stay put for now.

They haven’t really sorted out what put you in there in the first place. From what I am seeing you are just going to wind back up in there in the next few days if you go home now. It doesn’t make any sense
