A stamp! Of couse. So obvious when you know the answer 😁
You more than welcome. Im glad you stayed as well. Its great that you got such a fantastic nurse who has been so supportive for you. Its what you deserve, to get more help to get yiuself in a much better decision. I'm sure this nurse will do everything in her power to get you this help, but just keep in mind that she will be gone for a little while until she returns for her next shift. I just mention this in case you dont find the next nurse as supportive and get to discouraged.
Things do seem to be heading in the right direction for you and while this nurse will obviously not be there all the time, she will be doing what she can for you. But she can only do that if you're there for her to continue to help you. We'll be here to keep you company while youre there and I'll do my best to distract your mind... even if it is with riddles that yiu solve far too easily 🤣
For now, just try to hold on to this bit of hope. I honestly thing yiuve had some great wins the past day or two and we're all here for you to help you continue this improvement. You really do deserve it. 🤗

@MJG017 they are always obvious once you know the answer, that's why they can also be incredibly frustrating 🤣
I'm loving the jokes, riddles and random chats. It's so nice to actually feel supported here and to know that people care.
Thankyou to you and everyone that's showed so much compassion and helped me through this so far.

I used to try that in school after i failed a test. Id tell the teach that if they told me then answers then id obviously get them all right.... win win! We tried it and i got confused and did worse than the first attempt. So that was the end of that 😁
That's fantastic with the nurse. As I keep saying, taje wvery little win you can get. This seems like a big one though. Keep going and im sure that hope will start feeling close and larger. Just dont get too discouraged if there's a loss or two along the way. Two steps forward and one back is still heading in the right direction. And those backward steps happen to all of us and rhey can make us feel like we're back at the beginning but we're not. You're doing so well.

Re: Life and trauma
@MJG017 that's hilarious, I couldn't even do tests in school cos I would just freak out and freeze. Kids and teachers thought it was very amusing and would laugh and tease me so i used to run out crying.
I'm trying to take the small wins but right now I'm sitting here thinking really bad thoughts. I hate that i can't make them stop, that the just consume every part of me. It's more like one step forward and a million steps back.

Re: Life and trauma
@Former-Member It sounds like you went to school with some horrible people. They were never the most forgiving places if you didn't 'for in' were they.
I bet yiu didn't think there were any steps forward at all not so long ago. So progress is progress and you're definitely nake some, so thats something to be extremely proud of. Especially when dealing with some very difficult issues like you are.

Re: Life and trauma
@MJG017 school was absolute hell for me. I really can't say anything more about it cos it was incredibly traumatic and something I've tried hard to forget about.
Very true it's a very small step forward and I really don't think I'll be able to believe it until I see it, if that makes sense.

Re: Life and trauma
@Former-Member It makes a lot of sense. When we get do used to bad things happening, it can take a long time to believe good things can happen. I think its just a normal way we protect ourselves by not getting our hopes up anymore when its been dashed so many times. It can take a long time to get it back.
