Re: Life and trauma

@MJG017 I'm hoping it just goes away. I have my phone with me and I'll call 000 if it doesn't settle soon. How was your day anyway?

@Former-Member Okay, well hopefully it settles down soon.

My day went okay, not great, but not terrible either. Just glad its over.

@MJG017 why is sleep so hard to come by. I managed to doze off but now I've woken up having a panic attack.

Re: Life and trauma

@Former-Member I don't know, you'd think you'd sleep pretty well once you actially fell asleep. Is there any particular thing you feel these panic attacks are about?

Re: Life and trauma

@MJG017 yeah what happened earlier today to me. Even when I'm sleeping my mind can't switch off.

Re: Life and trauma

@Former-Member I totally see how stressful and worrying that would be. Would just telling yourself a plan of exactly what you would do if it gets really bad again help at all? Just help to calm yourself? Maybe wven trying an audiobook or podcast again... just to listen to while falling asleep. Maybe that would distract your mind enough so that when you fall asleep, you stay asleep for a while. Maybe even some music.
