Re: Life and trauma
@Former-Member That sounds like hospitals.... lots of waiting. It sounds like my friends experience. She had 3 ablations at it never managed to get her heart rate diwn when it was really bad. They just had to wait for it to drop, which is why they eventually installed a pacemaker. Hopefully thats not the case with you. But she also has POTS, so that was what they put it down to as far as i know.

@MJG017 they have talked about Pots with me but that's as far as it's ever got. It's so frustrating not knowing what's causing this.

Hey @Former-Member ,
I'm sorry to hear how hard it is.
Are you finding the forums helpful? Or do you think a bit of offline time will help?
We want to ensure this space is helpful for you and doesn't cause you to get more triggered.
What do you think we can do on the forums to make it easier for you?

Re: Life and trauma
@tyme this is really the only thing keeping me going right now. Knowing that people that don't even know me are taking the time to chat and check in and show compassion.

Re: Life and trauma
@Former-Member Yeah, i at least had my partner to visit me while i was in hospital, but i remember as others seemed to have stream of people visit. It makes it a lot harder. While i cant visit in person obviously, I'll keep checking in when I can and hopefully it helps you feel a little less alone. Oaktree will probably check in when she has a chance as well. I know its not the same a people actually visiting, but you're not totally alone. Please dont feel your bothering anyone, you're certainly not bothering me, i just wish rhere was more I could do to help.

@MJG017 it's just hard to see other people have so much support around them. You don't know how much I appreciate you chatting to me and checking in, it means so much to me. Knowing that I have this forum to support me at the moment is really the only thing keeping me going. I just really hope I can get through this and that things can be different cos right now I just feel like all I'm doing is bringing people down.

I'm glad to hear you find it helpful. In my own journey, I also found the connection invaluable.

Re: Life and trauma
@tyme it's important in life to have connection with others and right now I have that here and for that I'm so thankful. It took so much courage for me to actually join up here and even more to make that first post. But I'm so glad I did now cos with what's been going on I'm not so sure I'd still be here if I didn't have this support.
