Re: Life and trauma
That's okay @Former-Member, no need to be sorry. What were some things that were working for you earlier today?

Re: Life and trauma
@Ru-bee it was just the colouring and I had my TV show playing in the background.

I've been loving all the colouring and drawing that you've shared today @Former-Member
What show were you watching?

Hey @Former-Member
I've just been catching up. Sorry it's been another really tough day. How are you going at the moment?

Re: Life and trauma
@Jynx Trigger warning.
I've just started having really intense flashbacks, it's just one after the other. I can see these people doing things to me and i can feel it happening, it's like I'm completely back in those moments all over again. I'm really fighting so hard to stay in the present moment but I feel like I'm losing.

Absolutely understandable to feel like you're losing @Former-Member especially if they're ramping up. You are still safe though. What sort of things might help you increase the sense of safety? Stuff like hiding under covers, pulling a teddy close, or gently telling yourself out loud that you're safe can definitely help 💜

Re: Life and trauma
@Jynx I'm sitting on my bed with my weighted blanket around me and my teddy in my arms rocking back and forth. I need this to stop, it's too much for me to be feeling all at once.
