haha that's how i feel about people you love water activities like diving - i commend your courage! the water scares (but also intrigues) me!

we booked an apartment in the city for my sister's birthday, it was fun but also socially exhausting. i don't have any other outings planned till sat so it'll be a good chance for me to recharge my social battery!

Hahah you are right wetsuits are very tricky to get into haha but for everyone! It’s part of the fun right? Add bonus is you are a lot warmer when you are in them to worth the effort wear one!
What brand mask do you use? I’m am looking at getting another one, one day- yours sounds like it’s good quality I don’t need prescription lenses though but very interested in the brand you use and how you find your mask/snorkel? I have a TUSA one 😊. You are also right about the water magnifying things what an added bonus!

While I was thinking about the water magnifying things have you heard of the archerfish? They use light refraction to spit water out to potentially get pray above the water. It’s amazing. I like those fish!

Yes I hoped the up and gos would be on special but sadly they weren’t and wanted them for camping but will def be keeping an eye out when they are on special! Interesting you like chocolate I’ll have to give those a go one time! I wasn’t a fan of the energiser ones lol

Did you all stay over the night afterwards? What was for dinner? Did you go out into the city? What were your highlights 😊

Camping was a lot of fun! The highlights have to be- we were lucky enough to have some cows come past us! They were super curious! One sniffed my swag when I was not in it thankfully and I thought it might try eat it- turns out one sniff and it freaked itself out and ran away 🤣. I have it on video too pretty funny!!

The other highlight has to be Indi’s last find a big effort and she did amazing so that was so nice to end on a high!!

I think my mask and snorkel are TUSA. That's a familiar name. It was so many years ago I dont recall and haven't gone to find them for my trip yet (it will provide the snorkel and fins apparently, but if I want to see I will need my own mask with lens lol). I recall I got a mask with two separate eye pieces so that they can have different strength prescriptions.

I had seen photos of a dish spitting water but never knew why or what fish! Now I know! I googled archerfish and I recognised it. 😄 pretty clever little fish eh!

Guess what I saw today! Probably the best thing of today - some sort of bird! Clue is: it likes to appear to be a tree branch or part of the tree that it is in ☺️
