My husband is cooking steak and mashed potatoes. He bought flowers for my mum too. I never asked him to cook or get flowers.

It is nice he is doing this for her.

I am grateful to him for doing this.

Thanks for tagging me here. I am sorry if I am going to bring the mood down, I feel so lonely and sad. I really dislike this time of the year. I feel like all the supports are inactive too. I am trying to keep busy but after turning 30 this year and not achieving a lot of life goals, I feel very small right now.

I turned 30 in August and I feel like everyone in my life has everything figured out. My sister is 5 years younger than me and is already engaged and has her own house. I still live with my parents.

Honestly dont have much more left to give in life.

I spent yesterday at The MCG watching cricket with my son, it was a very pleasant day. Met my mother travelling through town today on her way home and we had lunch, all in all a good family and Christmas weekend.

Your husband has the right idea at times it seems, I am actually going to brave a club with an elderly friend for New year's Eve, probably need a nap the next day as well if I make it to midnight.

It is very common now for children to be still living with their parents

I was still home at this age

I understand that and I do appreciate you telling me that. I guess it is just really hard to hold on to that when everyone you know around you is in relationships, moving out, and having kids. Whereas I am nowhere near achieving any of that at all.

Currently I am just playing my guitar and learning new songs.
