Looking for all those that are intending to study in 2025 to complete the cert IV Mental Health Peer Work.
This is a space for our study group, where we can discuss what we are studying and hopefully get some input from current Sane Peer support workers.

I’m now waiting to hear back from the institution regarding next steps. It’s either I’m gonna get an interview or I have to do some other pre-training related stuff before I get accepted. I hope it’s the latter and not the former though. Interviews give me anxiety for a reason…
like I had an interview for a volunteer role (NOT at all related to the course) I was interested in but the questions I was asked during that interview were…something else (at least to me) & not what I was really expecting..

Interviews can be so tough @Blackcloud even when we are prepared! Totally understandable to be nervous even if you know what to expect.

@Jynx Other than that, I can’t wait to potentially start doing placements with the organisation I currently volunteer with if I can (after I get accepted into the course which I hope I will). The course is also online which suits me better than if it’s face to face.

@Jynx just to clarify, it’s either an interview I’ll be getting, OR, it’s the other pre-training related stuff that I might have to do or go through before I get into the course - so it’s one or the other. As I said, I hope it’s the latter and not the former.
