C-PTSD and Childhood Trauma

C-PTSD and Childhood Trauma

Hey folks!! This thread serves as a safe space for discussions around C-PTSD and childhood trauma, how it impacts us, and how we can cope and recover.

I'm sorry this happened @avant-garde . I hear that it would've felt so isolating and difficult, especially if all you were wanting was to sit there and let the meds wear off.

I know we are supposedly 'social' creatures, but it makes me wonder whether it's easier just doing some things alone.

@tyme

Meeting with another friend today, he asked me what my expectations were for church and asked about a comment I made, that I feel like doors are being shut. This is one of the doors that feels shut, because of what she said.

Frustrated, hurt, confused

She thinks we're fine and I don't want to turn this into a mountain. But we're not fine.

I called my case manager today and it felt good to unload and be validated.
