Going to keep the 10th and 17th and switch to someone new in the new year through the same practice.

Have already replied to the supervisor saying that, she's going to call me next week to discuss this further.

In a way, it's good to have closure I think. If you just walked away, it may not be the best for either party.

We support you in whatever you decide. If you don't feel comfy on the 10th, I'd encourage you to speak up.

Turns out it didn't matter if I was comfy or not... if I mattered or not... she left anyway... cancelled next week's appointment and transferred me to someone I can't even afford come the new year!

Same rebate, $20 increase because she's training to be clinical but not one my former therapist even mentioned! Just who "we think would be best for you"

I'm sorry how hard this must be for you.

The loss of a therapeutic relationship is hard enough, let alone not being sure if you have someone after.

Did the supervisor speak to you, or the therapist themselves?

I had a session yesterday because she wanted me to "transition well" after she was completely unprofessional in our last session.

I've been allocated someone it was just someone we had never discussed because of the higher fees.

This was all discussed in the last session yesterday.

It won't hurt trying this new person because they're giving me the first session free to see if I fit with her.

In a way yes, but I just hate that I felt I didn't have a say over who I had next and that next week was cancelled, it took away my control and autonomy in the situation
