  • my Kidney function have decreased to 17%
  • my Liver and diabetes levels are up
  • I have Osteoporosis which i will need medication as my bone density has decreased because of the kidney disease
  • they believe that the Liver function is up because of the kidney disease
  • Kidney disease affects every part of your body

Yes @Shaz51 I have a friend with a sister who is deaf because her mother had german measles when she was pregnant,

Turner's okay - are you short (you don't have to answer that), yes you can have quite a few complications with that, including kidney and heart (you previously mentioned you don't have any children (but that could be for another reason). So you don't have the definitive diagnosis?

Re: One Day at a time here

Yes @Till23 no definitive diagnosis

Not short short , have a short neck , blind in one eye , born with one kidney

Female parts are not connected to have children

My usual doctor when I was 18 put me on treatment which did help with development but because of very bad migraines every day we had to stopped the treatment

Re: One Day at a time here

Well I hope appointment goes well @Shaz51

I am short but don't have Turner's I'm just short 🤣

I always get a shock when I see a photo of my sport team and even in mixed teams with other clubs I'm always the shortest.

It has lots of disadvantages, but when I lived in UK I could buy kids clothes, which didn't have tax on them, so were cheaper!

I didn't ahve a single coffee today, but did yesterday when I went on a walk.

@Shaz51 @Till23

I have a few friends (through the Deaf community) who were affected by German Measles during their foetal development. Including one who is also blind in one eye as a result too, and had a heart problem as a new born.

I had genetic testing done a few years ago, I think it was also to rule out Turner's syndrome. My tests came back normal as far as they could tell. Cluster of symptoms cause still unknown lol.

Hope that whichever decision you make @Shaz51 its the right one for you. 🥰 and its also ok if you're not sure to wait until you are.

I dont think I had to pay for mine - i think it was under Medicare payment. So for me it didnt hurt me (physically or financially) to have the test investigation done.

Thank you 😊 @AlwaysMyself

I won't be paying anything for it as the doctor has requested that it , so I will go ahead with it

I can see we have a connection my awesome friend 🧡

I think it would be interesting to know @Shaz51 in case it modifies treatment or even just for interest, but that's me of course and others, like yourself, may think differently.
