Re: One Day at a time here

I can empathise with you @Shaz51 about restricted diets - fortunately for me my restrictions are very short term

Re: One Day at a time here

Thanks @Shaz51 I will be ok I'm sure.

I'm sorry your diabetic control is getting harder

I'm glad you are going to dietician because you've got the kidney stuff going on as well.

I hope you are finding dealing with husband a bit easier lately.

You, my friend, have a ton of stuff going on

Re: One Day at a time here

ohh that's a big news to digest, how are you feeling about it? @Shaz51

Re: One Day at a time here

Very overwhelmed with information @rav3n , @Dimity

The specialist is picking this one so I can do it at home on the machine overnight

as the dialysis centres are too far to travel to everyday for 5 hours on the centres

Re: One Day at a time here

That's a big step @Shaz51 . Your forums family will be with you.

I guess you'll have a lot of questions as the rhythm and pace of your life change. I hope the kidney people are kinder and better able to answer your questions than the diabetes people, although I'm sure they all mean well.

Sending you much love and respect lovely Shaz. Hoping the gumption you inherited from your mum helps carry you through.

Re: One Day at a time here

definitely a lot to process and think on, sending you hugs 💗 @Shaz51

glad you've got the home option for the overnight treatment, i imagine travelling up and back would've been quite exhausting.
