  • I have Osteoporosis which i will need medication as my bone density has decreased because of the kidney disease
  • they believe that the Liver function is up because of the kidney disease
  • Kidney disease affects every part of your body

Hi @Jynx

Been up at the hospital today with Mr shaz

Home again now

The doctor at the hospital said to go back fully on all his meds, have a doctors appointment to 2 weeks

and given him some online help to look up which I know he will not do that

For me , I think I need to handle things differently but not sure how to do this ?

In every day

Re: One Day at a time here

We know you're doing your best @Shaz51 and we fully support you.

How is Mr shaz feeling after all that? Trusting the Dr's judgement hasn't always been his strong point.

Hugs to you... keeping calm and good communication are so hard when someone's struggling so much. Hopefully there's something in your selfcare toolkit just for you.

Re: One Day at a time here

@Shaz51 sounds like a big day hun. Hopefully the meds help, and maybe Mr Shaz could put a visual reminder up somewhere to do the research?

I agree with @Dimity - open communication is hard, but always helps... and taking time and space for yourself are essential. Maybe getting a bit of extra support for yourself? Like Recovery Club or Mindspot?

Hugs 💜

@Jynx , @tyme , @Dimity

His thinking is all over the place

It is a bit confusing to explain

I try to support and encourage to do it and then something happens and it's gone

Re: One Day at a time here

Yes it can be like that @Shaz51 - but they sent him home - hope you can persevere with the meds and not doing too much. Do you have any mh professional to reach out to if he gets worse?

Re: One Day at a time here

Sounds very challenging @Shaz51 like you can't quite keep up, so it would make it harder to feel like you can support him, I imagine. I'm sorry that it's so rough for you both right now, defintely a good time to seek extra support 💜

Feeling sick in the stomach, can't go to sleep 😫

Re: One Day at a time here

Deep breaths... box breathing... can help if it's anxiety @Shaz51 .

(Count to 4 breathing in, count to 4 holding, count to 4 breathing out, count to 4 holding)

Take care my friend
