It would be a huge change to adapt to for both of you and the kids.

Has he said things like this before?

Do you believe it is related to a mental health episode?

It sounds as if you are very worried.

Have you any ideas how you would manage if it came to pass?

Its usually lots of little steps.

Can you simplify things to the essentials, you will need? Although I really hope he can surf his complicated feelings and you both can come through together.

I think it is a mental health issue

He has not been this bad for years and he has never said that before

We have a doctors appointment this Thursday as he is experiencing a physical problem as well and to inquire about his new depression medication

He is a lot better today which is so good

Dearest mamabear, that is so, so hard. I'm so sorry to hear that this is happening for you hun. I know Mr Shaz has not been good lately and sometimes that means extreme or irrational ways of thinking can ramp up. I hope you are taking things slowly/step by step and doing what you can to look after yourself, including reaching out for some extra support as needed.
