Am Not Coping

Am Not Coping

I am really not coping at the moment but this is entirely on ME!

This is a message for a few people on here @utopia @Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member

that I asked could be passed on but it seems that only part of it has been and I understand from the responses that have made it through my emails that I have caused untold distress for some people. I was not going to return because of what I felt I put people through but I especially wanted @utopia and @Former-Member to know that they were not wrong at the time and I was going through a real crisis period. You both held me together for longer than I could myself until the point where my own self-destructive thoughts overwhelmed me.

The entire message that I sent to SANE is below:

I have just viewed the multitude of emails and messages sent from forum members and members of the SANE team – as well as the text and voice message left on my phone.

I have not been able to communicate with anyone since the other night as I have been recovering from what ended up being an unsuccessful attempt to end the pain.

At the time I was in a very distressed state and I did want to stop the pain and all I seemed to achieve is to cause others pain and worry and that is the last thing I wanted to do – I just wanted to end mine and say goodbye to everyone beforehand so my future absence was explained. I should have realised that the message I posted would have concerned some people but I really was not in any state to think about the repercussions for others.

I am so sorry I caused so much distress to others – that is something I will have to hopefully try and live with.

I don’t believe after the concern and anxiety I caused to so many that I will ever be able to return to the forum.

Can someone from the SANE team please explain all this to all those involved and pass on my gratitude for their compassion, concerns and kind words throughout the time I have been part of the ‘forum family’.

Thank you and sorry again for the difficult position I put everyone in.

Zoe7

I do not want any responses from any of you. I just wanted to let you know exactly what has happened and let you know how truly sorry I am for hurting people I have come to think of as friends and family, and who I really care about.

Your support, advice and compassion are what make you all the wonderful people you are.

@utopia and @Former-Member I am so sorry that the trust you placed in me has now been broken because of my actions. I also felt that we had a stronger connection, especially over the last week, and you both helped me in ways I cannot even describe or explain. I was not pulling away from you two - just wanted to pull away from myself. I couldn't cope with my own feelings and no-one or nothing was actually going to be able to stop me at the time. It's now just another failure to add to my list of failures. I really don't know what else to say to you both but to reiterate my heartfelt 'sorry'.

@utopia @Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope @Phoenix_Rising @Former-Member @Former-Member @Owlunar @marchhare @oceangirl

Thankyou all for your support over the last few days and especially last night. I have had a few hours 'rest' - exhaustion finally took over. I am so tired - physically and mentally. Minute by minute today - that's all I can do!

@utopia I know you have your Mental Health support meeting today - I do hope it is a productive meeting for you and you can get some of the support you need

@Former-Member I hope you have an 'easy' day at work - thankyou so much for letting me know that I am not alone and that someone is there walking with me who does have some insight into what I am 'dealing with' atm

@Phoenix_Rising some times the simplist things say so much - knowing others are listening - and truly hearing - is often just as powerful as words

@Faith-and-Hope - my guardian angel Always with me - always a light in my day

Hiya @Zoe7 ..... 😘💕🌷

The world is cold and wet here today ..... did you send me across some weather ?? Anyway, my phone ap is promising overcast skies but no rain till 11pm tonight ..... so I am holding it to it's word .... or I'll .... I'll ..... don't know what I'll do actually .... lol ..... can't chuck my phone in the river cos I need everything else that's on it ..... ❣️

😜

I'm up and out and in the coffee shop, where they don't appear sick of the sight of me yet .....

After that I have a morning free of commitments so it's a round-the-bridges walk for me this morning.

My dog was playing up this morning ..., not following instructions to return to his yard, after his great escape the other night and adventures at the pet hospital where they kept him for us to collect him.

@Zoe7 It's cold but bright blue skies here today! I have stayed home with my lil girl today as she needs some tlc and got a Dr appt for her.
I'm glad you got some sleep , not sleeping is what makes me get unwell super fast. Maybe you can talk to someone today just about sleep... Hugs

Re: Am Not Coping

@Faith-and-Hope I must have sent the weather your way because the sun is out here - still cold but not wet! I would encourage you NOT to thrown your phone in the river - apart from needing what is on it - it is not good for the environment

I didn't know your dog had a 'great escape' - must be taking after his mummy wanting time on his own!

Enjoy the coffee and walking - and the morning without commitments - just what you need to find a little peace and light in your day

Re: Am Not Coping

We had a tradie here the other day @Zoe7, and our gate self-closes electronically. We had it propped open for the afternoon, and removing the prop from the sensor ought to have closed it. I saw the tradie remove the prop, and assumed the gate would close. It was dark and raining so I went inside.

Later when I came out to "release the hound", remembering that he is big and bounding with energy, he makes a game of defending the front porch. In the dark and rain I outwitted him to get in the door, still not realising the gate was open .....

Well.... he didn't need a second invitation to go wandering .....

The overnight pet hospital staff were afraid of him when he was brought in, but he would have been alarmed and in "guard-dog" mode. Once he settled, they were fine with him. He really is adorable ....

Re: Am Not Coping

Oh @Faith-and-Hope poor 'wolf' would have been scared - hopefully he has learnt his lesson and won't try going on an adventure on his own again! Toby would probably disappear for ever if he was left in the front yard on his own - which is unlikely to happen seeing as he doesn't go more than a few metres from me. He will go to anyone though as he is a very friendly little puppy dog. Sometimes I wish he wasn't so friendly as it would be really easy for someone to just pick him up and take him if the opportunity arose. When we are at the beach he runs up ahead but constantly turns to make sure I am still coming - then off he runs again - very cute! It's a great day today to take hime to the beach but I will not be able to drive. We went to the Million Paws Walk yesterday morning and I know that was too much for me. Even though the walk was initially good for both of us, it was too long for me and I found it physically difficult to make it back to the park from the beach. It did add to my exhaustion and I really did think I was going to be able to sleep last night because of how tired I was but every time I tried to close my eyes the fears took over - so much harder to deal with when I don't have the physical energy to fight the mental pain as well.

Re: Am Not Coping

Well I hope that fatigue carries over to a sleep tonight @Zoe7 ..... after a quiet day of resting perhaps ? The exercise itself will have done your body some good, even though the sleep outcome and spiralling fears didn't ..... just finding a glimmer of positive in there .....

💐💕

I am glad you have some sunshine .... can you sit out in it for a while and soak in some Vit D ?

I am heading off to walk now .... will let you know if I see any 🐬🐬🐬's ......

💚💕
