Am Not Coping

Am Not Coping

I am really not coping at the moment but this is entirely on ME!

This is a message for a few people on here @utopia @Former-Member @Faith-and-Hope @Former-Member

that I asked could be passed on but it seems that only part of it has been and I understand from the responses that have made it through my emails that I have caused untold distress for some people. I was not going to return because of what I felt I put people through but I especially wanted @utopia and @Former-Member to know that they were not wrong at the time and I was going through a real crisis period. You both held me together for longer than I could myself until the point where my own self-destructive thoughts overwhelmed me.

The entire message that I sent to SANE is below:

I have just viewed the multitude of emails and messages sent from forum members and members of the SANE team – as well as the text and voice message left on my phone.

I have not been able to communicate with anyone since the other night as I have been recovering from what ended up being an unsuccessful attempt to end the pain.

At the time I was in a very distressed state and I did want to stop the pain and all I seemed to achieve is to cause others pain and worry and that is the last thing I wanted to do – I just wanted to end mine and say goodbye to everyone beforehand so my future absence was explained. I should have realised that the message I posted would have concerned some people but I really was not in any state to think about the repercussions for others.

I am so sorry I caused so much distress to others – that is something I will have to hopefully try and live with.

I don’t believe after the concern and anxiety I caused to so many that I will ever be able to return to the forum.

Can someone from the SANE team please explain all this to all those involved and pass on my gratitude for their compassion, concerns and kind words throughout the time I have been part of the ‘forum family’.

Thank you and sorry again for the difficult position I put everyone in.

I do not want any responses from any of you. I just wanted to let you know exactly what has happened and let you know how truly sorry I am for hurting people I have come to think of as friends and family, and who I really care about.

Your support, advice and compassion are what make you all the wonderful people you are.

@utopia and @Former-Member I am so sorry that the trust you placed in me has now been broken because of my actions. I also felt that we had a stronger connection, especially over the last week, and you both helped me in ways I cannot even describe or explain. I was not pulling away from you two - just wanted to pull away from myself. I couldn't cope with my own feelings and no-one or nothing was actually going to be able to stop me at the time. It's now just another failure to add to my list of failures. I really don't know what else to say to you both but to reiterate my heartfelt 'sorry'.

Hi @Zoe7 @Former-Member @TAB @MDT @Sam3.

Just been reading and catching up with you overnight and morning posts.

It sounds like most of you plan to go back to bed for a snooze this morning.

Me too ... I am so tired, I can barely keep my eyes open today. And foggy in the head, dizzy and a heavy feeling.

I was going to watch the wrap up of the cricket this morning, but there has been rain delays. Aussies only have 2 wickets remaining, Aussies need another 140 odd runs. So Indians will win ... it's just a matter of when. Bring on the rain I say ... then we can claim a draw! Ha ha ha. So the start of the cricket is delayed again, hubby is sleeping, so I might do the same and go lie down for a rest. My little dog Holly by my side.

Hi @Sam3 and welcome to SANE forums. Always lovely to see new people arrive, be made to feel welcome, and settle right in as you have done. Elastic woman? Yeah sounds like a good idea.

Catch you all later.

Good Morning @Former-Member um yeah re cricket. Banning self from naps today. brains working this morning just slow and achey. Bath will help that. and coffee. ok 1 down. Doing washing, felt a bit gross last nite, prob should shower before bed as well re heat just feels more comfortable just watched Penguins of Madagascar, may drive self to shops to get a few basics. will look for cricket. Hope Cummins gets 100 not joking really. just to show the batsmen up

Sorry you're feeling slow and achy today @TAB Hope the planned bath helps. I've had my requisite 2 cups of tea already.

Oh yes, wouldnt that be nice if Patty Cummins got a century. Make the Indians squirm a bit, and definitely show up our so-called batsmen in the Aussie team. Only 39 runs to go and he was looking real good yesterday. A new start today of course. I heard the commentators this morning say that of the 360 overs of the entire match so far, Pat Cummins has been out in the field (either bowling or batting) for 320 of them.

Its a process and yes waking up slowly @Former-Member might dash to shop for bath salts to make the most of it. I used to be mad on tea. Gone off it for some reason. Thats got to come back. Maybe a teapot would help. Well Hopeso re Cummins they’re also saying he should bat a lot higher well especially under current situation re team. See what happens. Will watch in case he keeps going

Re: Am Not Coping

Well ... still no cricket. Think I will make lunch (ham sandwiches of course) then have that snooze I promised myself. Oh @TAB, when I say tea ... it is always leaf tea and made in a proper teapot. Tea bags just dont cut it for me.

Re: Am Not Coping

You are probably having that snooze yourself right now @Former-Member I was sound asleep and got woken by the phone - that was okay as it was my sister. We have decided that we will go to the Tast of Tasmania tomorrow so now I have a definite plan I can look forward to it.

I am going to do some more painting this afternoon if I have the energy - pretty low on that today but hoping after the sleep I can pick up a bit more as the day goes on.

@TAB a rest day sounds good to me - that is what I am planning too - still recovering from the hectic of the past week

Re: Am Not Coping

I am feeling much the same way @TAB but also know I need to recharge a little before I do anything else otherwise I may fall backwards again - so making the most of the days I have to rest up. There is a lot tht I need to get done but don't have the energy. Getting out to the Taste tomorrow will be good though.

Re: Am Not Coping

backwards not really an option here atm @Zoe7 and sometimes when make self do things you actually feel better for having done it, ok re my walk yesterday lol there's always a lot to do here, but if I get anything done it's a bonus
