Thankyou for the song @Bunniekins I wonder who shared it originally?
A different start to my usual morning routine.
All those people at Coachella. The world is amazing.
Thankyou so much for contributing. Ooh, I can feel the fear & heartbreak, - & I can empathize with your carer role, & seeing the vulnerability.
I made a new friend at Church - 2 new friends, an older lady who is 79, & her son 43. He is diagnosed as having lived experience with schizophrenia.
I didn't actually realise how many similarities between Autism & Schizophrenia (gosh, I cannot get the stigma out of my head + I really wish there was a blanket term, of processing disorders/ differences) or renamed. Schizophrenia is a awful word to me. I'm sorry if I offended anyone, to me it simply has too much bad connotations.
I digress, I believe they too, are in very similar situation to you.
He confided in me after church one day, he didn't have any other family, & his Mum was irreplaceable. What will he do when she is not there anymore?
I replied, 'you have the NDIS.' His face lit up.
I'm not ever going to know, what it must feel like for you.
I think I wanted to share because, on that day, I think I saw glimpse of hope, & future.
...that, (MAYBE) things can be ok 💜🐞
No one will ever love him, the way you do - the world might have enough good people, -maybe, we don't have to worry (at all? No, that's incredulous)
Sorry, I don't know if I'm making sense, & you don't need advice from me.
I don't think that you worry for him, I think, we worry, because we know how much we love them .... ?
I don't want to post this. It's probably all bs.
I blame the song .. losing it🥳
Wishing you relaxing day.
Thankyou
