Ramblings

Ramblings

Although I would not go so far as to claim that every day is a 'bad' day, it is entirely without question that none of my days are ever 'good'.
The best I could hope for, at any given time, if I were still able to hope, would be that that particular day was just 'a day'.
Unfortunately, more often than not, many of the days I am given are entirely unpleasant.
Sometimes they are worse.
Days where I hated everything and everyone.
When I wished I didn't exist.
Had never existed.
And then, there were days like today, where I don't even care enough, or possess enough mental fortitude to hate.
I just lie there, sick and empty.
Had I the energy, I feel I would cry with parts of my mind and my body that I didn't even know were capable of crying.
But all I have are the empty places where the crying should have been, and the vague feeling that I wish to slowly fade from existence, because to do it quickly seems like far more effort than I am ever likely to possess.

'Mama take these guns from me.
I can't shoot them any more.'
..
I've been fighting every day,
But was never meant to win this war.
So why not take my days from me,
I don't want them any more.

Re: Ramblings

You were writing poems about not coping, what was I supposed to do look on in sympathy and pat you on the head?

The word "believing" is only used when you take things on face value and just "go along with it". I'm not like that, if something makes sense, it makes sense. WIth Reiki what happens is you focus on the heart in your chest until you feel a warmth, and then you use that contrast to root out pain. IE bad posture, foods you need, people you dont trust. And you improve your life that way. That's called doing it yourself.

I'm not commanding you to do anything. I dont want anyone in the world to be sad/unhappy etc.. so I would give 1000 bits of slapstick advice to anyone

Re: Ramblings

Hi @SGde3a and @Former-Member,

I just want to chime in here to point out that it can be hard to make sense of someone's tone in the online environment where there are no physical cues. In this sense, posts can be interpretted in multiple ways. I interpretted @SGde3a's as trying to be helpful. And @Former-Member it's ok to disagree with what people have suggested and explain why, as you done. @Former-Member, I get the sense that you're wanting to use this thread get thoughts out, and 'ramble' as you put it. You're not really after advice? Is that right?

The reason I ask this is because it might be helpful to let others know how they can (or not) offer support.

Enjoying your writing @Former-Member

Re: Ramblings

Apologies if it seemed like I was attention seeking.
It's an outlet. Catharsis.

It doesn't like to fester inside me , and it's less damaging than a shooting spree.

Although that's probably debatable given some of my terrible meter and metaphor.

As I said, I appreciated your intent and effort, just not so much the method and assumptions.

Says the world's biggest hypocrite...

Re: Ramblings

I'm open to points of view, discussion and philosophy.

I'm not open to people telling me how to think or feel.

And I'm not particularly interested in what 'healing flag' individuals have chosen to march under.
Suffice it to say, unless you're a research scientist with unpublished cutting edge discoveries, I more than likely already know about it.

This why I hate 'explaining' myself.
I always end up appearing like a total a-hole.
