You could always remind him of this? That you have had good communication in the past which is why it's unexpected? Hey you never know maybe there's something else going on, and this was displaced emotions targeted at you even though they were from something else...

And yeah 100% that's how we roll!! Focus on what we can control in this moment 😌

I definitely have had post-its up in the past to remind me of this, I think they lost their sticky and fell into the abyss.... lol might have to make some more permanent ones!
