Hi @MJG017 I am so glad to hear that you are still kicking.
I nearly wasn't on the 29th Dec. I was in a car accident where I was doing 80km and the other person was doing 100km and he failed to give way to me. I was taken to hospital with chest pain from the seatbelt and knee pain from hitting the bottom of the dash with them. My internal organs didn't like stopping suddenly and I had a severe gallstone attack 2 days after the accident. When they did an ultrasound of my gallbladder, the doctor said that it had gone vertical. I ended up having 3 hospital visits within 5 days. And apparently it also did some minor damage to my heart. I am not sure if this is something that will fix itself or if I have to live with it. When the ambulance was called because of the severe gallstone attack, they took me in under a cardiac issue rather than abdominal. I really think that my Dad was looking over me during the accident, as I was very lucky to have minor injuries so far.
My car was a write-off and the other guy told his insurance company I was in the wrong. Both the Firefighters and the Police said that I had the right of way. I ended up going back to the accident site and taking photos of the sign that told him a give way sign is 150m ahead and the actual give way sign. I sent them through to his insurance company and haven't heard from them since.
With the help of my partner, I ended up purchasing a 2016 FG XR6 with sports exhaust. It is a much better car and sounds tough. But I don't enjoy driving like I used to. I have lost my confidence and keep thinking that people are going to crash into me.

For the first time in a long time, I finally feel like my antidepressants are working and I have been feeling alot better. But my pharmacist rang me earlier this week to tell me that the company is no longer producing my antidepressant and they will substitute it with the generic brand. But I tried the generic brand, and they don't work for me. So I am going to have to go through the weaning process all over again. So I am not looking forward to that.
I feel like for some reason I am never going to get on top of my mental illnesses, and I won't find true happiness again.
