I've exhausted all avenues possible, reached out to every service there is but sadly noone can help. There's not even emergency accommodation available as there's so many people in this situation. The landlord is putting my rent up and I'm not able to afford it.

That endless mouse wheel just keeps turning hey.

Actually --- last night I was wondering - I ran away from Sane forums for 3-4 years and got very annoyed -- I didn't have anyone to save me. The stress was too much.

My oldest son - an intellectually brilliant man has not got in touch with his compassion but gives it only in his work -----

I need to let go.

Weird -- my youngest son who has cut my mother out of his life was yelling at me yesterday telling me to stop infantilizing him. Incredible.

I know people like your eldest who give it all to work. Sadly I think its a way for them to cope with their own struggles.

For your youngest, I'm sorry you got yelled at. Sounds like he is also coping with something.

For you, Deep breaths...all you can ever do is try to be the best person you can be and take care of yourself.

@Healandlove it's hard cos everything has gone up and everyone is struggling with the cost of living. It's just impossible to afford a house when your only income is the disability pension.

I have a tent but nowhere to stay and it's also not a safe option given health conditions.

I hope one day you are able to help people the way you want to. I too see people struggling and wish I could help. I'm that person that pays for those extra couple of things for the person in front when they go over their budget and have to put things back, so they don't have to miss out.

I will stay here for as long as I can, not sure how I'll be able to keep paying for my phone. But we will cross that hurdle when we come to it.

I (kind of chose to actually) get out of bed at 7:40am this morning so wasn't able to go to volunteering, because otherwise if I chose to get out of bed at that time and then get myself ready like 10 minutes after that (like 7:50am-ish), I would've already been late to volunteering. The ideal time for me to get up and then get myself ready then get out would be around the maximum of anywhere between 7:20-7:30-ish am. Actually, I was contemplating if I should go volunteering or not even if I was to come late as I was changing my clothes on this morning kind of ready to head out to attend there, but then I chose not to at the end. Plus, it's another pretty hot day today and I know that I can't stand working at somewhere - let alone at a food bank where there would be no air conditioning or whatnot. My anxiety is also too weak to be able to attend anywhere that involves people in it on a weekly or a daily basis most importantly, because I just wish that I would be in a place where I would feel belonged and accepted and respected 100% at all times by EVERY single person of all ages.

I also got in touch with the university that I've applied an undergraduate certificate to because I still haven't received my student login details including my student ID from them, and they said that the advisor there will be able to get all of that sorted for me and hopefully get me admitted into the course! At first I was a bit hesitant to call them before, as I do have phone/video call anxiety, but then after calling them, I've felt relieved!! 😄 can't wait to get those, so that I can finally call the disability accessibility support services to obtain an access plan (the plan for assessment arrangements according to your conditions)

@Former-Member ughhh! it's so frustrating how we've reached out to almost every service possible that we know of and that we can find but none of them just ever be able to help us out throughout these difficult situations! 😞 I'm really sorry about what you're going through at the moment, but also the tent situation I can imagine how much it takes a toll on you, but despite that it's the only place you could be at when there's no other place to go and to live in 😞

I definitely agree it's impossible to afford a house when your only income is the disability support pension. Me personally, my only options right now are to move into a government housing whenever my application for that gets approved, and also to look for other student accomodation where the rent is a lot cheaper than the rent of the place I live at right now. I've been looking into it and was able to given a couple of options by my accommodation agent, but those accomodations that have a cheaper rent are unfortunately located quite far from the CBD and requires you to take public transport to get from here to there everytime 😞 I hate having to use public transport all the time. but oh well, if only I knew how to drive a car or even ride a bike or a scooter. 😕
