Hi @ENKELI

So lovely to hear from you.

Sorry your Dad is such a rotten old codger. RSL recently had a thing where you could create a will for free.

@TAB I have ADHD which can make it hard to put sentences together. It’s worse when I’m exhausted and struggling with my mental and physical health.

@Former-Member do you also live in Melbourne. We do need more sunshine, the days are already short enough. Melbourne’s seasons feed my bipolar disorder. Seasonal changes can disrupt circadian rhythms

@creative_writer I'm in South Australia. The weather can have a massive impact on our bodies both physically and mentally.

@ENKELI 🎉👏🏼🫂 I miss you so much!

Retiisi the boys, Mac & Lenny miss your muffin drops.

There is no greater hurt than family. It’s the kind of hurt that eviscerates.

My life has also been placed in front of an industrial fan while a fertiliser truck dumped a ton of poop :pile_of_poo:

I’m going to go eat chocolate.

@Former-Member the weather does affect us. You probably do get warm weather in South Australia too. Climate change will probably force me to invest in an aircon.

@TAB ADHD means I have to take my time when drafting a professional email because I want to be sure it is free of errors. I don’t really pay as much attention to errors when messaging or posting online because hyper-focusing on details is exhausting. I think one of the reasons why I haven’t gotten a job yet is because I haven’t found many suitable work options. I am applying widely for now but I am limited in the type of work I can do. Sensory sensitivities may make it hard to work in certain environments

perhaps send medical info to centrelink /and /or ask to be put with DES part of the job network thing Just a thought @creative_writer

Re: Best Friends Club - Popping by to Say Hi

@TAB I can chew on it for a bit. I have gotten a medical cert for Centrelink before when I was studying part time for a bit due to health concerns. If I’m going to be honest, I’ve only started taking job searching more seriously recently. I was very sick in January for weeks after going overseas for a bit in December. I know it realistically hasn’t been very long. I did come across a job which may fit me with where I’m at, but they haven’t started the job hiring process yet

Re: Best Friends Club - Popping by to Say Hi

hmm fair enough @creative_writer I just finished a course did last year. I applied for a few jobs, got feedback from 2 that I would have had the job if I were in Adelaide (am in country in house I own and been adopted by stray cat who is a bit damaged.)

had I taken job, would have been unfair to cat, ie abandoning it and I would have had to get accom for at least 5nights a week . prob would have quit /been sacked already, had like 6 medical appts recently as well, and not things I could put off.

people I asked seem to be in 2 camps, career and ignore cat or dont do it. I wish there was an acceptable option just to get experience, even for 6 mths maybe. Think I was putting myself under pressure and would have cracked.

Hopefully you find a way of making it work for you
