I find that my inner critic gets louder the closer it gets, we're looking at the 21st...

• It tells me that they won't believe me
• That what's the point, they won't do anything anyway
• There'll be insufficient evidence like always
• That I can't do it
• That I don't matter
• That nobody will be there to help me, I'll be on my own
• That they won't hear me and they won't care

It's proving the inner critic wrong

• It's not about them believing me, it's about me doing what I need to
• I am not responsible for their inactions, I've done what I can
• The evidence isn't me responsibility
• I have done it before, this is not unfamiliar
• I matter, my voice matters, my experiences matter
• I will not be alone, I have someone committed to coming with me
• They don't have to hear me, they just need to take the statement
• I have people that care about me

Everytime I tried telling my mum what she has done wrong to me, she always denies it and says that I’m being funny and ridiculous about it. Then she would also always says things to me like that she’s always “been a good mother” to me just cause she always there to provide me food and things… always there to invalidate my feelings. I wish she can understand that being there to provide me things doesn’t always make you a “good or caring” parent, but she doesn’t.

thanks for dropping me a line.

Worked last night and again tonight so a little tired, just catching up on the cricket. I am on the DSP and not yet 60, getting closer though, and have had to give away my beloved golf due to back issues, getting older really is such trash. I also was an avid reader once upon a time but find that more challenging now, whether it it related to the schizophrenia and medication for it or something else is hard to say.

Either way one of my greatest challenges is filling my days, but i do enjoy a challenge.

What are your weekend plans?
