Was this trauma therapy worth doing ?

Yes. Yet I'm traumatized

Right now and ....... Mr Rocker has little knowledge of how a woman can be traumatised is a little like a tiny bird....... But he is doing it.

I'v been reading all these sad wedding stories on my mobile ....who thinks the mobile listens to you ????

And because of what he is doing my wedding will be good. My wedding will be great.

So poor ol' Mr Rocker has tried very hard to understand I flip out for 5 days every time I see mum - he went to see mum alone yesterday.

My psychotherapist has seen me 4 times this week.

I’m 61 and have gold cover hospital health insurance and silver cover ancillaries. After seeing the difference between amount I pay and benefits received compared to what my late husband had I decided to change to same health insurance firm he was with which is a military based, non for profit company.

Due to level of cover of health insurance I have the only cost I have to pay is pharmacy bill for 2 different types of eye drops, both of which are not on PBS

Ability to draw is a great gift and you have right to feel proud. One of my aunts was gifted with ability to draw plus to paint using her finger tips. She had physical health issues from a teenager and given gift in artist field. Quite a few of her nieces and nephews have a photo that she had finger painted

hang in there with the wedding plans. Have you googled and read stories of couples that are happily married for many years?

I remember my wedding plans. Everything went from good to negative very quickly. Celebrant and location we wanted, and had verbally agreed to doing the ceremony, was no longer available. This got my determination going to do everything we could to make the day how we wanted it to be. Day turned out perfect. We choose some of the wording to be said plus our own vows etc

things will all work out and your wedding day will be perfect.

@Ziezie12 Years! It's only been a couple for me, but it's so tiring. I've tried everything as well, but my mind just refuses to shut down. After a while, I lay there not even feeling tired any more.

@PeppyPatti Us men try our best (some of us do) to understand but sometimes it takes a lot to get it through to us.

At least he went alone to see your mum. Just letting him know that you know that he may not understand about these visits, but that you do appreciate him going alone may encourage him to keep asking questions and try to understand better. I guess for me, If I was in his position, knowing the specific memories, thoughts and emotions it brings up for you would help me to understand the intensity of them more. Maybe it would help for him as well.

@ZiezieCould you imagine that feeling of waking up, looking at the clock, and realising you've been asleep for 8 hours! It's the small things in life I dream about 😁

I just don't sleep long enough to dream!
