Please don't be so hard on yourself. It's not wrong to go out and socialise and meet people. Your special person will ALWAYS have a special place in your heart. But it doesn't mean you can't have friends and see other people. They will have a 'different' place in your heart - one that is not a deep?

I know what I'm trying to say, but I don't know how to put it in words. I just know the feeling.

It like you are doing what you can to better yourself, but you will alway have that special place in your heart no matter what you are doing.

It's okay. You are okay. You have not done anything wrong.

Thank you I understand. This new person came in like a whirlwind, we had a first date like teenagers. I didn’t want to hurt her so u text saying I’m not sure. Then I wasn’t up to scratch and she text saying she is questioning and has doubts anyway so it was a romance from Monday and crashed and burned on Friday. Then done. I thought it was a learning experience but I only learned I suck. I am sure my special person is happy without me.

I don't believe that is the only lesson you learnt. I believe you clarified and confirmed what REAL love means, and that this person wasn't it.

And you know your special person isn't happy. Mark my words she'll be moving around again soon. We may not understand the path destiny takes while we are in the moment, but it doesn't mean destiny is wrong.

Look up, my friend. Keep moving forward.

Im not sure if we will ever run into each other again. I’m not sure how. This experience was very traumatic and has scared me. I did learn that I have some problems. This experience just created more issues. But if she liked me then there is definitely a chance my special person did as well. But obviously not enough to ever try to find me.

I hope you are going well. Things have been pretty confusing for me and u can’t make sense of anything

And you know what? I feel that is part of the journey. You have parts of the journey that are very clear in terms of your goals, then you also have parts which are a bit blurry. This is expected. You know how much you have improved since you first connected with us. Now, it's about continuing to move forward.

Looking back brings depression. Just focusing on what's ahead brings anxiety. Focus on the now so you don't miss what's happening for you now.

hope you are going ok. I’m not sure if you got to see my last message or not. It may not have been published but things are pretty tough at the moment. I hope it is ok to have some of these moments on my journey. I feel like I have failed.

hey @Rockdog just wanted to let you know that you're not failing if you're having tough times. those tough moments are almost necessary for growth, that's how you gain strength and resilience. and it's also a reminder that... you're human! we all fall and pick ourselves back up again.
