That sort of makes sense. Yes I should have done it better. I know now I only want to share the facts with you. I always try to be honest and when I let my guard down I get whacked. It hurts. I know what you mean as it turns out it wasn’t safe to share. Can you maybe help me describe it without describing it. It was also more embarrassing because she was a woman of a similar age who dismissed me and refused to validate my feelings. My princess is all I want and I just want it to happen. I guess I relived the nightmare end which I had forgotten a bit after the wave. I was feeling positive about things and to have it dismissed was hard. I refuse to take that on board. It is still happening isn’t it?

I went to a DBT class today but I didn’t like it. They said don’t try to read other people’s feelings from how they act. Isn’t that intuition? I did read my situation right didn’t I ? I guess I should learn things though if I want to do counselling

I'm interested in what they have said @Rockdog .

Sometimes, you don't even need to TRY and read people's feelings because you just know - right?

If someone trashes a room, my guess is that they are angry, and hence I check-in with them?

If someone phones me or wants to see me all the time, my guess it that they want my company?

If someone goes out of their way to connect with me, my guess is that they want to connect?

What do you think?

I 100% agree with you. If someone is trashing a room there is something wrong. No one can observe the feelings and emotions of another individual.

This was to do with mindfulness. Describing is putting words on observations No one can observe the intentions of others. Often attention is given to the effects of what other people do and then it is assumed that these effects were intentional. Expressive behaviour can be misleading. You just get a feeling sometimes and can’t describe it. So I don’t agree with that because like you said, if someone sees you all the time they most probably like you.
