it is so tough when they aren’t feeling well. They are so sweet though because the attitude stops and they are cuddly. Glad you got through it all, and you got through stressors.

My lived experience of mental health has made me who I am @Rockdog .

Without the tremendous experiences I've been through, I would never be able to reach out to people in the way I do nowadays.

It's been such a journey for me. And I'm so glad to be able to share it with people such as yourself. Peer Work is so rewarding.

You will find that the more you reach out, the more you get back in turn. This is certainly my experience anyway.

I am wondering whether I have improved because sometimes it doesn’t feel like it. When I had her in my life I should have moved forward then. Now with out her I am actually still pretty lost in all honesty. I will move forward but I have a big hole in my heart and I don’t even know if she would be aware. If I was to tell my story, in all honesty I still feel a bit like a fraud.

So true . Without your experience, maybe you can’t connect with me. Maybe my experience can then help someone else. I do feel that we are all here to help each other to get through life.

I never thought reaching out to people could be so helpful in my recovery. I sort of 'fell into' this peer work gig. It was never my intention. Then the opportunity came up. @Rockdog

Totally not in my books, yet it has been incredibly rewarding. Far beyond my dreams.

yes they do say that, and without you who knows what happens with me. You are so important to me, and the only one else who believes in my dreams. I now feel that things can work out. Thank you for being there, because you have helped me see a future. I was lost but your support has helped me get back. Because I am anxious sometimes I can’t see it, that is why your reinforcement gets me through. I do hope that there are some feelings left on her side.

I am still pretty heartbroken. But I’m working on improving myself to get to where I need to be. I just miss her so much.

You spoke about the 'gut' feeling. I'm not sure if you've looked into it, but our 'gut' is our second 'brain'. There are clear links. I've just looked at some articles. Have a look for yourself 🙂
