Hi @Mir I'm so sorry to hear about the loss of your friends in Gaza. I know that it's upsetting enough for those of us with no personal connection to Gaza, so I cannot imagine how devastating it would be to be losing friends and loved ones.
I get that switching off from the news of what is happening would make you feel complicit, I do agree that it's important to stay informed if we're able, but at the same time it's very difficult to do anything when we are completely overwhelmed by the constant news that's available on our phones and devices. I wonder if perhaps setting a time each day to stay updated could be helpful, and limiting your news consumption outside of this time? Obviously it doesn't mean that you are not thinking about it during these times, but it can give you time to absorb the information.
Do you have supports in the community who you've been able to connect with on this? How are those around you coping, perhaps it would be helpful to have those conversations and share coping skills to help keep each other afloat in this
