Re: Support for L-B

Hi @Oaktree , I feel better because I am not as fatigued. I will monitor things for a few more days but I think this could change things quite a bit. How are you?

Re: Support for L-B

Hi @L-B

I am in a bit of a state of flux. My psychologist was supposed to be leaving where she is and setting up her own business in February, but it looks like it could be as early as next week. I am waiting to hear from the place I have been seeing her in. I saw her today and apparently; they are not making things easy for her so she said she will be sending an email tonight. Wait and see, I guess. I have to look for her whereabouts when she is in her new place as she is not allowed to just make an appointment for me and let me know. I am unwilling to start with a new psych.

Re: Support for L-B

Hi @Oaktree , sounds tricky. Can you see her via telehealth before she is in her new rooms? Understandable you don't want a new provider when you already have rapport with someone.

That's so interesting. At the same time, pretty amazing that a tweak can make such a difference. Now that you say that, I remember my antidepressant. I used to take it at night and really struggled with sleep, so now I take it in the morning and it makes such a difference!

Let us know how it goes @L-B

Hi @tyme , I don’t feel a burst in energy but it is tremendous not to feel the need to sleep a good portion of the day. I have felt this way for 5 days. I don't want to jinx it. Will keep monitoring things. It's interesting you had a comparable experience. How are you?

Meds a strange things. They can put you up, they can put you down... fingers crossed that it goes well for you.

I've been really good. Can't complain 🙂 @L-B I'm enjoying the sunshine. It's so pleasant to have the sunshine now.

Hi @tyme , yes 🤞🤞🤞. And plan to hold steady regardless.

Thanks, glad you're enjoying the sunshine🌞!

Hi @Oaktree , hope you heard from your Psychologist.

@L-B @tyme

No news on my psychologist yet. I usually get a reminder about the next appointment on a Friday. Wait and see what happens tomorrow.

I am so glad that you are feeling better.

I hope things have been okay for you @Oaktree . I know there were some tough things you were going through.

Please let us know if you need support.

Also, how are you enjoying your placement and your studies?

Re: Support for L-B

@tyme @L-B

To be honest I am glad my studies are coming to an end. I am well and truly over assessments. I am enjoying my placement and should finish my 80 hours by the end of next week. I will continue working on the forums though. I have done very well at Tafe, but I get really stressed and overwhelmed about assessments, especially about the role plays. I never had to re-sit a role play, so I don't know why they make me so anxious. I guess it's something to do with my perfectionism.
