Hi guys,

So I have this idea for a cook along. So once a fortnight or so I will look up an easy recipe on YouTube. Then whoever fancies having a go cooks it and posts pictures of what your creations ended up looking like. The idea is to have fun and not expect perfection.

Here is the first recipe. Your mission if you choose to accept it is to post pictures by Sunday 24th March 2024. That way it will encompass everyone’s paydays. It looks pretty simple and you probably already have some ingredients in your pantry. Good luck and tag others in. Thanks guys…

Re: Cook Along

@Oaktree you wonderful person! Thanks for the recipe, I'm looking forward to trying it out too. Let me know how you go, I've been out to Coles twice already today, I'm miffed I didn't check this out before I went!

Re: Cook Along

@Glisten don't you hate that?! I might have to go tomorrow and buy ingredients, the recipe does sound really good.

How's the weather up north? It's tried to rain a couple of times in the Swan and it's been cloudy but still not trackie and ugg weather yet!

Re: Cook Along

@ENKELI

It was a top of 21 degrees and a shower or 2 up here in the Northern suburbs. I am a tinier bit more north than @Glisten

Re: Cook Along

@Oaktree @ENKELI I start wearing a jumper or jacket at 17*degrees.

@ENKELI are you going to Disney on Ice?

Re: Cook Along

@Glisten I'm like you, needs to be really cold before I start digging out the woollens.

Not going to Disney on Ice, I didn't realise it was on. You going?

Re: Cook Along

@ENKELI the only thing I like on ice, is Baileys.

Yeah, long sleeve t-shirt under a short sleeve t-shirt, is adequate until it gets to 17 or the wind gets icy cold 🥶

It could be time for another hot chocolate and Vegemite on Rice cake.

@ENKELI do you watch sports?

G

Re: Cook Along

@Glisten haha love it! Bailey's over ice cream is pretty good too.

I like the footy but don't get to watch it as often as I'd like.

How's about yourself? Which team do you back?

Swap the hot chocolate for a mocha and I'm with you - vegemite on rice cake. My lunch of choice 👍
