Something that helps my social and emotional wellbeing is making more time for self-care; whether it's being on Country, visiting mob, or simply spending time outside with my dogs.

Heelers are great dogs! How old is yours? 3/4 of mine are about 8-9yrs old and then there's a 3/12yr old.
In order from largest to smallest - I have a Bull Mastiff x Bull Arab, Heeler x Kelpie, Kelpie x Bull Arab and a little one who (we think) is a Terrier x, but I'm not 100% sure.
And I think the best things (hard to narrow it down to one) about being First Nations is how it's shaped who I am, by creating a beautiful sense of community and how connected I feel to animals and my environment. How about yourself? And anyone else that would like to join in.

I agree, it is connection to the land and waters for me
And something that is consistent in a world that is always moving, the land and waters will always be there to ground you, other things and people move but they always stay
