Hi everyone ....
It's early morning here, and this is the view from my hotel window ..... hoping it brings a sense of peace to others here ....
My S2, D2 and D3 are all staying in another room, and won't be up for a couple of hours yet, so I'm gonna go for a walk along this beach on my own befor some sort of breakfast ....

Happy Christmas to you all. I'm not going to tag anyone because I don't want to hurt anyone by forgetting to mention all the names I should.
We've had a quiet day here with a trip to the beach with dog. She had a wonderful time in the water and chasing the waves. She also hsd s lovely play with the other dogs on the beach but was no match for a 4 year old kelpie. Lots of sniffing and tail wagging though. We kept the visit short though because we didn't want to tire her out too much.
We followed this with a very lazy afternoon and started to cook out Christmas dinner at 3.30. It's much nicer to eat a fully traditional pommy Christmas dinner as the heat of the day starts to drop. We sinned by giving dog a very teensy amount of on fatty turkey and a couple of tiny bits of roast spud. She's only meant to have small amounts of very specialised and inordinately expensive tinned food. But...... it is Christmas!
We've delayed our plum pudding until supper time when we'll have enough room for more pigging out.
