@Shaz51 naww, that is lovely. What a beautiful parrot you have. I would love to have a bird, however, my Mother has a literal phobia of them and if there are wings, she is already panicked.
I have also had a lot of previous pets.
They are such a beautiful thing. I also volunteer at the RSPCA - even though I haven't been for a long time due to extreme anxiety and depression. It is such a worthwhile organisation though

Since we are talking about pets - I have 2 cats. Jelly puss the destructo cat is about 6 or 7 months old.
2 cockatiels (weiros), 1 manic yellow peachface.
2 budgies, 3 Bourke parrots (lovely), 2 doves.
10 canaries (I love them singing), 5 java finches, 15 zebra finches, 13 Bengalese finches, & several other finches.
It's a bit of a menagerie - they all have lots of space, mostly in 3 small aviaries outside.
I used to have more finches, but I little energy to keep up with them at the moment.

Good morning @Former-Member, @soul, @Bimby2 and all other coffee/tea thread visitors 🙂
The sun here today looked more like a moon as it tried to poke through a very thick, dense blanket of fog that covered us.
The early ealry morning started clear and the fog blanket passed over at a time when it usually lifts, so it was eerie but very cool to watch it drift through. We took our morning walk in visibility reduced to only three houses in front of us with a temperature hovering just above freezing. Definitely beanie gloves and boots today (and heaps of appreciation for the plumber here fixing our heater at the moment)!
