Re: Anyone feel like chatting? Coffee/Tea ☕💕
D2 seems fully recovered. Her injury is barely noticeable now and isn't affecting her at all.
Mother's Day was interesting .... 😜 ... had a few strange moments, but it was lovely over all. I didn't catch up with you about yours .... did you do something nice with your mum ?

Bugger i love dolphins. I wish i could see them like i did while i was away. I dont think id ever get sick of them esp in their natural home and not in a zoo
Im glad her injury has gone too
I tried my best to give her a good mothers day. I made her breakfast and me and my sisters gave her presents and cards. It was cold and raining but we watched a movie together and brought lunch as well. It was a hard day as its the first year without nan being here. I was also fighting SH urges which i didnt win and also suicide plans but i won against those.
Gotta love those strange moments though hey. Its often thosr times we remeber lol

Re: Anyone feel like chatting? Coffee/Tea ☕💕
From someone who has lost their mum too soon, the pain around losing your Nan will soften with time ..... honour her by following choices that would make her proud .... what sort of self-care activities would she have wished for you .....
I cook my mum's favourite dishes on her special days, like Mother's Day and her birthday .... I have a photo frame for her picture for the Christmas tree, and I light a candle on the days and times when I really miss her. I pick or buy her flowers and put them in a vase in my kitchen for her .... these are all ways to express grief in a positive way. You may be able to think of some other ways.

I see her weekly and take flowers to her grave
When i start to.miss her alot more sometimes ill draw her favourite flower-a pink rose. She always liked mh drawings even when they were just stick figures. She often drew stick figures to but we coloured in alot together.
I wanted to give up horse riding so many times but she always use to say to me. "You have natural talent and as much as im not keen on horses it brings too much joy to you and i hope you never give it up" i think thats the only reason i havent given up on riding ir any horse even the difficult ones yet @Faith-and-Hope
I miss her all the time and i feel guilty about so many things. To many things to list and i can only hope she will or has forgiven me. Even as writting these words i have tears again and its not easy to stop

Re: Anyone feel like chatting? Coffee/Tea ☕💕
This allows you to be true to your feelings and express them momentarily without allowing grief too great a hold on your life in the here and now, which is not healthy.
If you practice this @outlander, it will help the grieving process to take its course and the pain will soften as it does. Dwelling on it too much is like taking over the coals and causing it to keep flaring up repeatedly, which just delays the healing of your emotions.
