@Spookytookims, what's happening on the cricket? Reminds me I once joined a university womens cricket team. They put me far out in the field all on my own. I think one ball came my way all day and I had to run after it (hopeless, lol). Most of the time I was standing there in a paddock with the sun beating down, sweating, wondering why I was doing this.

lol!! @Mazarita that doesn't sound like fun! Cricket finished it was a 20/20 IPL game I was watching.

lol well you probably aren't alone... okay nowadays they have really short games.. have you heard of "The Big Bash"? That's the Aus equivalent .. what I was watching was the IPL Indian Premiership League.. it's huge as you can imagine.. I'm sure you know how big Cricket is in India. @Mazarita In case you haven't heard of the big bash... it's a really short form of the game.. 20 overs per side. Aus cricket thought it was a naff idea until they realised it makes a poop load of money.

@Spookytookims, I suppose what I know from hearsay is that cricket used to go for days in the old days (which I remember). There are still games like that now. But it's gone through a fair few variations, like one day matches. Never heard of 'The Big Bash'. Knew that cricket was big in India. Short game sounds like it would be more bearable to watch.

yea this form is a 3 hour game so they can play a lot more games back to back basically. The IPL lasts a few months and it has a lot of good batsmen from all over the world playing in it cos they get paid heaps. @Mazarita see what you can learn when you are an insomniac? lots of useless information! 😛

@Spookytookims, haha, I feel I'm learning useful stuff. My lack of interest in sport is a social disadvantage.
