Re: Anyone feel like chatting? Coffee/Tea ☕💕

@Spookytookims, haha, noted. Is the personality type you are referring to INTP? They seem to change over time. When I was coming down off a big high, my test results showed ENFP. The last time I did it more recently, it was different, but I only remember that I'd changed to introvert.

We looked into that @Mazarita.. the jury is out.. I think the E/I would be most likely to change.. especially in a situation of some kind of PTSD. Like you, mine was right on the cusp of E/I but the psychologist who orginally evaluated me did so as an INTP despite it being on the cusp, after he questioned me further he decided I was more INTP. I did it again recently when Cheerbear wanted to start up the personality thread and have some fun with it... and I'm well into I(NTP) now.. well around 11% inside so compared to right on the cusp of a question either way.... mine also seems to have gone more INTP now.

Queenie on the other hand redid hers and she was still ENTP. I think also it's important to find a site where the questions are not too "updated". that is close to the original wording of the questions. There's a lot of 'fast food' ones around these days unfortunately,

Edit left out "Not" opps!!

@Spookytookims, interesting and, yes, fun to explore the Myers-Briggs framework. The bipolar with me has seen me go through extremely introverted and extremely extroverted periods in my life. So not surprising my definition might change in that way especially. I know what you mean about the maccas quality of some websites.

yeah it's fun to explore something about ourself that isn't related to our MI @Mazarita. it seems we are so defined by that, other people tend to forget at times there is still a "normal" set of traits in us that also makes up who we are, it's not all the negative cr@p.

@Spookytookims, I hear you about that. I identify with bipolar a fair bit, partly because it makes more sense of my life to view it that way. But I am glad I also have a life as an artist who is not everywhere known as someone with bipolar. And just as a person. I'm not 'out' about it to everyone in my life. But there are things about being bipolar that I wouldn't trade. Another friend with bipolar locally says the same. It's likely not the same with PTSD, I am guessing.

I feel like a coffee @Mazarita... but probably not a good idea if I intend to go back and try to get some sleep. Oh dilemma, dilemma! Maybe settle on a cup of tea or hot chocky instead might be a better idea

hmmmm ponder, ponder... 🤔

@Spookytookims, haha, if you are planning on getting more sleep, you know the wisest move. But this is hypocritical advice because I'm about to get myself a coffee.

Re: Anyone feel like chatting? Coffee/Tea ☕💕

ooo true.. very true @Mazarita I am a strong believer that who we are is every one of our experiences rolled into one. I know PTSD rocked my world (literally) in ways I could never have imagined and certainly never wanted. But at the same time, as horrible as it was/is, it gave me an insight I could never have had without it.

I don't think I'd write it up in the manual of "must dos"... haha... but since I apparently "had" to have it... I intend to also see what it brought me that I would otherwise have not had without it.

That's yin yang... those little dots.. indicate there is some of both sides in the other. I'm sure you know the symbol I mean. A lot of people don't know about the relevance of those dots though.

I'm getting one too... the smell and taste is just too tempting for me to make the more "rational' choice at the moment too @Mazarita 😛

☕️ 😄

@Spookytookims, that's really cool with the dots. I've heard it before and it's great to be reminded. That symbol is Taoist, I think? I like what I have encountered of the Tao philosophy. So good to hear that you are finding positive perspective on what has happened in your life. It does all make us who we are. Making the most of wherever we are in life seems like it could be an integral part of healing.
