.. never was converted to IKEA .. tho my ex would take us there .. accompanied by his endless cynical comments.. it miht not have been IKEA's fault .. lol ..
I havent been to Scandinavia but had a couple of Danish friends .. my gf sent her gorgeous young brother out to stay with me .. when my daughters were 2 stunning blonde bombshells .. we all seemed to blend ..
but my hair is darker ..

glad you're in holiday mode @Shaz51 you deserve some rest time.
I'm exhausted. was a busy and happy enough day doing holiday things with the kids.. They're happy and now in bed.. though not yet asleep.
i'm feeling exhausted in so many ways. Did happy things with the kids but couldnt feel it.

Sorry to hear you're feeling like that, doing fun things, but not feeling anything. Depression is awful.
You will improve, if I can, anyone can. It's a slow process, but you'll get there.
I still struggle every day, but some days are ok. I never used to even have ok days.
Do you think it would help you to talk about the abuse? With your psychologist or someone you trust. Or have you already done so. I know it helped me to talk about it.
You can chat on here if you're comfortable with that, but I understand if you'd rather not. Thankfully it's anonymous on here. ❤

I lived in Sweden for a few years, so going to IKEA brings back lovely memories. All the foods etc........

Does anyone experience agoraphobia or social anxiety, where they feel awful and nausea when they have to socialise, it heightens my anxiety so much I can't think properly sometimes. It's a bugger as I used to really enjoy spending time with others and I believe as humans it's natural and good for our health to socialise and be a part of something with others. How do ppl cope with this? Any professional treatments or personal coping strategies that work for others so they can enjoy socialising again?

in laws .. were northern Euro mix American ..... .. my associations are not so positive .. but I dont hold it against all Swedes ..
